John McCorkell vistied us on Monday 29th April. He led an assembly where he explained what it was like to live with a disability and to be a wheelchair user. He then worked with the classes on a range of activities to help the children understand some of the challenges people face with a variety of disabilities. The children were inspired by John, who is a basketball expert. He showed the children his basketball skills at playtime. We now have many children keen to be basketball players.
